She holds a BA from the University of Cambridge and a PhD from the University of Toronto, where she specialized in ancient and medieval philosophy. Her research focuses on Stoic philosophy, particularly semantics, logic, and grammar, with a current book project reconstructing Stoic propositional semantics using ancient grammatical texts. She also engages with contemporary philosophy of language, including Fregean senses and Mates' Puzzle.
Teaching includes tutorials on ancient philosophy for joint schools students, as well as logic and philosophy of language. Her work bridges ancient and modern thought, emphasizing the Stoic perspective on language's relationship to reality.
