Dr. Marion Aichberger is a Researcher at the Berlin Institute for Empirical Integration and Migration Research (BIM), affiliated with the Faculty of Cultural, Social and Educational Sciences at Humboldt University of Berlin. She co-heads the Global Mental Health research unit within the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at Charité University Medicine Berlin. Her work focuses on intersectional mental health research, emphasizing migration-related factors, social exclusion, and culturally adapted interventions.

Dr. Aichberger currently leads the BMBF-funded SIcGA study on culture- and gender-oriented suicide prevention frameworks.
