Mariola Łaguna

Mariola Łaguna is a Professor of Psychology and Head of the Department of General Psychology at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (KUL) within the Faculty of Social Sciences. Her research focuses on personality psychology, social psychology, and the psychology of entrepreneurship and organization, with an emphasis on self-efficacy, hope, and coping strategies. She leads the Social Personality Psychology Lab and holds editorial roles in journals like Annals of Psychology and Europe's Journal of Psychology.

Dr. Łaguna has secured significant grants, including NCN-funded projects on prosocial actions and entrepreneurial success. She has mentored over 10 PhD students and received multiple awards, including the Silver Cross of Merit and the Rector’s Award for Scientific Excellence. Her work integrates empirical research with practical applications in training and organizational development.
