Mario Barrett is a Professor and Assistant Dean at the Jack Welch Management Institute with over 25 years of leadership experience in both military and corporate sectors. He serves as CEO of The Barrett Center for Leadership Development and is a founding faculty member at JWMI. His expertise spans leadership development and organizational change, where he has authored best-selling books and frequently speaks internationally.
Education includes:
- PhD in Applied Management and Decision Sciences from Walden University
- MS in Organizational Leadership from Mercy College (with distinction)
- BS in Organizational Management from Nyack College (with distinction)
Dr. Barrett’s research focuses on transformative leadership practices in 21st-century organizations. His work examines how leadership methodologies impact organizational efficiency and cultural change in dynamic environments.
He has received significant recognition including the Dr. S. Irving Strayer Award for Excellence and multiple JWMI Faculty Awards for outstanding contributions to leadership education.
