Marine Batista is a PhD Student at the Department of Chemistry, Stockholm University, working under the Erica Zeglio group focusing on organic bioelectronics. Her work emphasizes materials integration with life and the environment.
She holds an M.Sc. in Materials Science & Engineering from EPFL (2022) and conducted research on nanopatterning of branched fatty acids at KTH/EPFL. Her current PhD project aligns with the Wallenberg Initiative Materials Science for Sustainability (WISE), targeting biodegradable organic electrochemical devices to reduce electronic waste and surgical retrieval needs for bioimplants.
