Marina Stanić is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business within the University of Osijek, holding a position at the Department of Management, Organization and Entrepreneurship since 2006. Her research focuses on entrepreneurship, behavioral economics, and sustainability within small and medium enterprises (SMEs), particularly in creative industries. She teaches courses related to entrepreneurial management, decision-making models, and effectuation theory at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
Dr. Stanić’s work emphasizes organizational culture’s role in fostering innovation, sustainable development goals (SDGs) integration in education, and socio-economic migration dynamics. She co-leads the Effectuation, Learning Organization and Human Resources course on the doctoral program in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Her recent research explores psychological drivers of pro-environmental behavior, pandemic impacts on entrepreneurial intentions, and business model adaptations in nonprofit organizations.
She collaborates actively with the non-profit sector through her board role at the Slagalica Foundation, promoting academic-community partnerships. Her publications span 20+ articles since 2007, addressing topics like intellectual capital’s impact on firm growth, creative industry financial dynamics, and logistic regression modeling pitfalls in business research.
