Marina Sjöberg is a Senior Lecturer in Nursing at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Kristianstad University, where she has worked since 2004. Her roles include program area management, teaching scientific theory, palliative care, and person-centered communication across nursing programs, including specialist training in elderly care and district nursing, as well as the Master's program in Integrated Health Sciences. She supervises degree projects and teaches independent courses focused on elderly care, palliative care, and person-centered communication.
Research Interests:
- Existential loneliness in frail elderly populations
- Palliative care and person-centered communication
- Documentation of existential aspects in medical records
- Development of nursing education curricula
- Integrated health sciences approaches
