Marina Mangubi

Marina Mangubi is a Professor and Department Chair holding the Eugene and Charlene Derge Sussel Endowed Professorship in Art and Art History at The College of Wooster. A painter, printmaker, and installation artist, her work explores thematic projects probing historical and philosophical constructs. Her recent project, Painting Biathlon, debuted at the Olympic training center in Canmore, Canada.

Her research integrates painting, printmaking, and interdisciplinary art practices, with exhibitions across 12 countries including Germany, Japan, and France. Residencies include the Banff Centre Leighton Colony and Camargo Foundation Fellowship.

Awards include the Camargo Foundation Artist Fellowship. She teaches courses ranging from introductory to advanced levels in drawing, painting, and printmaking.
