Marina Davidson

Dr. Marina Davidson is a Part-Time Lecturer in the Department of Modern Languages at Mount Saint Vincent University, specializing in French language instruction and Medieval Studies. She holds a BA from the University of Limoges (France), an MA and PhD in Medieval Studies from the University of Poitiers (France). Her research focuses on late medieval English heresy (Lollardy/Wycliffism) and manuscript studies, including palaeography and codicology.

Research highlights include analysis of the Glossed Gospels and Wycliffite sermons, presented at major conferences such as the International Congress on Medieval Studies (2004) and the Cardiff Conference on Translation in the Middle Ages (2004).

Community involvement includes board membership with the Chester Municipal Heritage Society since 2006 and Chester Municipality Heritage Advisory Board (2006-2009).
