Marija Zotovic-Kostic is a full Professor at the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad. Employed since 1994 and elevated to full professor in 2013, she specializes in developmental psychology with a focus on stress, resilience, and cognitive development in children and adolescents.

Research interests span stress and mental health in youth, coping mechanisms, individual differences, and adaptation under adverse conditions. Her work includes empirical studies on trauma effects and technological influences on development.
Project Management: Leading the Ministry-funded project 'Effects of Existential Insecurity on the Individual and Family in Serbia' since 2011. Teaching encompasses Developmental Psychology across undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs, including specialized courses on cognitive development theories.
