Marija Grozdanić is a Researcher at the Institute for Biological Research "Siniša Stanković" (IBISS), University of Belgrade, since February 2024. Her academic journey includes a PhD in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from the International Postgraduate School Jožef Stefan (completed December 20, 2024) and Master’s/Undergraduate degrees in Biophysical Chemistry from the University of Belgrade.

Research Interests focus on Cancer Biology, particularly mechanisms like cathepsin cleavage of EGFR affecting cancer cell signaling, Neurobiology related to nervous system diseases, and applications in Cell Culture and Multidrug Resistance. Her work bridges Biochemistry and Biophysical Chemistry, with projects funded by the Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency (ARIS).
