Mariella Gnani

Mariella Gnani serves as a Teaching Contract Holder in the Department of Pure and Applied Sciences (DiSPeA) at the University of Urbino Carlo Bo, specializing in Cultural Heritage Conservation and Art Restoration.

Her academic focus centers on the conservation of diverse cultural materials, with particular expertise in wooden artifacts, canvas paintings, and contemporary artworks created with synthetic materials. Her work addresses both traditional conservation techniques and modern challenges in preserving polymateric artifacts.

Dr. Gnani has maintained consistent teaching responsibilities since the 2017/2018 academic year through the current 2025/2026 cycle, demonstrating long-term commitment to training conservation professionals.
