Fabiano Ferrucci

Fabiano Ferrucci serves as a Full Professor in the Department of Pure and Applied Sciences (DiSPeA) at the University of Urbino Carlo Bo, where he specializes in cultural heritage conservation with particular expertise in wooden artifacts.

His research interests focus on the conservation and restoration of cultural heritage, specifically examining painted wooden artifacts, engraved wooden objects, and wooden furnishings and structures. His work bridges traditional conservation techniques with modern technological approaches to preserving historical wooden materials.

Professor Ferrucci has consistently taught Laboratory 4 courses on wooden artifact conservation for the Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage degree program from the 2008/2009 academic year through 2017/2018, demonstrating long-term commitment to training future conservators in specialized wooden artifact restoration techniques.
