Mariela Zayas

Mariela Zayas is a Lecturer of Spanish at Coastal Carolina University, specializing in strategies for effective communication and second language acquisition. She holds an M.A. in Linguistics with a Certificate in Spanish from West Virginia University (2024), a Licenciate Degree in English Language (2023), and prior degrees in Graphic Design (2014) and Teaching English as a Second Language (2017). She has taught Spanish and Latin American Studies, incorporating the Drama Approach in language education.
