معرفی
Marie-Therese Wolfram is an Assistant Professor at the University of Warwick's Department of Mathematics and a Senior Scientist at the Johann Radon Institute for Computational and Applied Mathematics (RICAM) of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. Her research focuses on mathematical modeling, partial differential equations (PDEs), and numerical simulations with applications to socio-economic systems, pedestrian dynamics, and crowd behavior. She holds a Dipl.-Ing. (2005) and PhD (2008) from Johannes Kepler University Linz, and a Habilitation (2013) from the University of Vienna.
Her career includes roles at institutions such as the University of Cambridge (2008–2010), King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (2013–2014), and RICAM (2014–2017). She has organized numerous conferences and workshops, including thematic programs on mean-field transportation models and collective dynamics in socio-economic applications.
Key research interests include multiscale modeling of crowded transport, opinion formation dynamics, and price formation models. Her work bridges applied mathematics with real-world challenges in social and economic systems.
- Awards: Hertha Firnberg Scholarship (2010–2013), New Frontiers Group Grant (2014–2019).
- Grants: Leadership in the NST 0001 project on multiscale modeling of crowded transport.
- Professional Activities: Co-organizer of workshops on pedestrian dynamics and socio-economic PDE models.
