Marie-Pierre Jouannaud

Marie-Pierre Jouannaud is a Lecturer in Linguistics and English Language Teaching at Paris 8 Vincennes-Saint-Denis University, affiliated with the UFR Foreign Languages and Cultures (LLCER-LEA). She is a member of the TransCrit laboratory's 'Cognition, Society, and Language' research axis. Her primary role includes teaching courses such as Practical English Grammar, Dissertation Construction, and Project Management for postgraduate education programs.

Research Interests: Her work focuses on Second Language Acquisition (SLA), particularly listening comprehension and vocabulary learning in English as a foreign language. She emphasizes bridging SLA research with practical language teaching and assessment methods, especially through digital tools. Key projects include the LUCIOLE tablet game for primary school learners and the FLUENCE project funded by France 2030.
