Marie Lamensch is a Professor at the Louvain School of Management (LSM) within Université catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain), specializing in tax law and digital economy taxation. Her research focuses on the impact of digitalization on tax systems, particularly value-added tax (VAT) frameworks.
She leads international research projects addressing EU-China relations, VAT/GST compliance burdens, corporate tax fraud, financial transaction taxation, and digital platform regulation. Affiliated with the Louvain Research Institute in Management and Organizations (LouRIM), she actively contributes to global tax policy discussions.
