Marie Hart is a Lecturer in the Department of Landscape Architecture at the Stuart Weitzman School of Design, University of Pennsylvania. She holds an MLA from the University of Pennsylvania and a BFA in Metals and Fibers from the University of the Arts. Currently, she serves as a founding partner and creative director of unPOPularNow, a design, animation, and production studio. With over 20 years of teaching experience, she specializes in drawing, design, and multimedia instruction, including a decade teaching field drawing and representation in Workshop 1. Her work emphasizes outdoor field study and landscape documentation.
Her professional background includes roles as a landscape designer at Andropogon Associates, bench jeweler, and teaching artist. She integrates interdisciplinary approaches, combining fine arts techniques with landscape design principles.
