Marie-Claude Larouche

Marie-Claude Larouche is a Full Professor in the Department of Education Sciences at the University of Quebec in Trois-Rivières (UQTR), where she teaches humanities in primary schools and special education, including practical training components. She co-directs the Research Laboratory on Cultural Audiences with Hervé Guay and maintains active involvement in university governance and policy development.

Her research focuses on the didactics of humanities, the culture-education link, and non-formal education, particularly on mediation practices initiated by cultural institutions integrating digital technology. She has pioneered innovative approaches to heritage education through projects like the "Cultural Mediators at UQTR" initiative and the development of the "eCompagnon culturel" mobile application.
