Marie Bashaw serves as Professor of Nursing and Director of the Nursing program at Wittenberg University, leveraging over 10 years of nursing education leadership and acute care hospital administration experience. Her role encompasses program direction within the Kuss Science Center and advancing nursing education standards.

- DNP in Nursing Administration from Wright State University/University of Toledo
- Master's degree in Nursing Administration from Wright State University
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from State University of New York at Binghamton
- Teaching certifications from Wright State University and Thomas Edison University
Dr. Bashaw specializes in preparing next-generation nurses through evidence-based practice methodologies, with particular focus on facilitating student transition to generalist registered nurse roles. Her clinical expertise spans perioperative nursing and nursing administration, directly informing her educational approach to develop competent, collaborative nursing professionals.
