Marianne Tevik Singstad is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mental Health, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). She works at the Regional Centre for Child and Youth Mental Health and Child Welfare (RKBU), where her research focuses on child and adolescent development, social support systems, and implementation strategies in child welfare. She leads the SoVei project (Social Guidance in Schools) and contributes to initiatives like VINGO, IVA, and LedVei.
Research Interests:
- Developmental psychology and adolescence identity formation
- Social networks and mental health in residential youth care
- Implementation science for policy and practice
- Teacher-social worker collaboration in educational settings
Outreach: Singstad actively disseminates research through academic and popular science lectures on relational work, social support, and school-based interventions.
