Marianne Rozario is a Lecturer at St Mary's University, specializing in the MA Social Justice and Public Service program. She holds a PhD in International Relations from the University of Notre Dame Australia and an MA (Hons) in International Relations from the University of St Andrews. Her research focuses on Catholic agency within international relations, particularly examining Catholic actors in anti-slavery initiatives through the English School theoretical framework. She also serves as Senior Researcher and Projects Lead at Theos, a religion and politics think tank in London. Previously, she managed Catholic Mission projects at St Mary's University and taught modules such as Global Governance and Catholic Foreign Policy. Her work bridges religious ethics, public policy, and global governance.
Research interests include the intersection of religious institutions with international norms, modern slavery eradication strategies, and the role of Catholic social teaching in contemporary global challenges. She has presented at multiple conferences, including the ISA Annual Convention and the University of Oxford, discussing topics like Catholic agency in global politics and the moral foundations of anti-slavery efforts. Rozario has authored book reviews for academic journals and contributed to publications on death practices and refugee policies. Her teaching spans diplomacy, research methods, and human trafficking studies.
