Marianna Zito

Marianna Zito is a Researcher in the Department of Engineering at the University of Palermo. She holds a degree in Architecture from the University of Palermo (1986) and conducted research on fracture mechanics using Green's functions at the Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio, Texas (1988-1989).

Her research spans structural engineering and biomechanics, with publications addressing surgical graft mechanics and coastal monitoring techniques. She teaches 'Calculation of Structures for Industrial Design' for Industrial Design students.
