Mariana Fragomeni

Dr. Mariana Fragomeni is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Plant Science and Landscape Architecture at University of Connecticut, affiliated with the Connecticut Institute for Resilience & Climate Adaptation (CIRCA). Her research examines climate adaptation decision-making with emphasis on heat vulnerability, urban bioclimatology, and urban design. She investigates how adaptive design and land-use planning impact heat sensation and community resilience.
