Christine Kirchhoff

Christine Kirchhoff is Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Connecticut and Director of Applied Research at the Connecticut Institute for Resilience & Climate Adaptation (CIRCA). Her research focuses on water policy, climate adaptation strategies, and sustainable water resources management under changing environmental conditions.

Research Focus: Kirchhoff investigates how climate science can be effectively translated for decision-making in water governance, emphasizing adaptive capacity building in water systems. Her work integrates policy analysis with technical assessments of water infrastructure vulnerabilities.
