Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mariana CRAȘOVAN has been a faculty member at the West University of Timișoara since 1999, serving within the Department of Educational Sciences under the Faculty of Sociology and Psychology. She is a graduate of Babeș-Bolyai University, where she earned both her degree in Pedagogy-Language and Romanian Literature and her Ph.D. in Educational Sciences with a focus on mentoring in teacher training.
Education:

- Ph.D. in Educational Sciences – Thesis: "Mentoring - a method of training and professional integration of future teaching staff"
Research Interests: Her scholarly work centers on instructional design, curriculum development, and teacher training, with a strong emphasis on mentoring processes during the initial and early stages of a teaching career. She also explores adult education, career counseling, and competency validation in educational and professional contexts.
Research Trends: Her publications span from 2010 to 2021, focusing on themes such as mentoring as a resilience factor for new teachers, the role of transversal competencies in modern learning, and the impact of teacher support on student well-being. Her work bridges educational psychology, curriculum theory, and applied pedagogical strategies.
