Dr. Mariana Atkins is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Social Impact and the UWA Business School, specializing in human geography and planning. Her work focuses on disaster resilience, ageing populations, homelessness, unemployment, and migrant communities. She holds a PhD from the University of Western Australia and advanced degrees from the London School of Economics and University College London. Mariana is a Fellow of the Royal Geographic Society and contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals through her research.
