Professor Marian Brady is a leading academic at Glasgow Caledonian University, specializing in stroke rehabilitation and aphasia research. She holds a BSc Hons, PhD, and FRCSLT qualifications. As a speech and language therapist, she leads the multidisciplinary Stroke Rehabilitation Research Programme and chairs the Collaboration of Aphasia Trialists (CATs), a global network supporting over 290 researchers. Her work focuses on improving stroke rehabilitation interventions, addressing healthcare inequalities, and developing clinical guidelines.
