Dr. Mariam Davtyan is an Assistant Professor of Research Pediatrics at the University of Southern California. She holds a PhD in Public Health from the University of California, Irvine (2018). Her research focuses on HIV/AIDS-related stigma, maternal and pediatric HIV exposure, and health disparities affecting women of color. She leads the MCA Center’s English-speaking Community Advisory Board (CAB), which bridges patient perspectives with clinical/research practices.
Key research areas include: in utero HIV/antiretroviral exposure effects, healthcare stigma mechanisms, resilience strategies among HIV-positive populations during pandemics, and HIV disclosure dynamics in families.
