Maria Ventura

Maria Ventura is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Education, Free University of Bozen-Bolzano. She holds a Master's in German Philology and PhD in Educational Science from the University of Innsbruck. Since 2000, she has taught German, History and Geography at secondary schools.

Her research focuses on inclusive education, history didactics, and integrating new media in teaching. She authored the textbook series 'Zeitreise für Südtirol' (Klett Verlag), which received international recognition.

Awards:

• Textbook of the Year Award at Leipzig Book Fair 2012
• Worlddidactic Award 2016

Maria has presented her work at international conferences in Estonia, Lithuania, Israel, Austria, Switzerland, and Spain. She coordinates workshops for future educators at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano.
