Maria Tsitskari

Maria Tsitskari is a Lecturer in Radiology at the European University of Cyprus, affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine. She holds a Master's Degree in Interventional Radiology (2014) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a Medical Degree (2006) from the Medical School, DOTE University, Hungary.

Her research focuses on Interventional Radiology, Oncology, and Vascular Surgery, with expertise in CT-guided procedures, neurolysis, embolization, and shunt management. Her work addresses pain management in oncology, hyperhidrosis treatment, and interventions for liver and spinal conditions.

Recent publications highlight advancements in percutaneous ethanol sympatholysis, transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunts (TIPS), and interventional oncology for liver metastases. She has authored or co-authored over 10 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters.
