Maria Paula Domino

Maria Paula Domino, MD, is an Assistant Professor and Associate Program Director in the Department of Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. A graduate of the University of South Florida (4.0 GPA) and Florida State University College of Medicine (Gold Humanism Honor Society), she completed her urology residency at the University of Florida and a fellowship in Voiding Dysfunction and Pelvic Reconstruction at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Her research and clinical focus spans urology, voiding dysfunction, pelvic reconstruction, and robotic surgical techniques. She has received multiple honors for her contributions to women in medicine and patient-centered care.

Dr. Domino maintains active licensure in Mississippi, New York, and through the DEA, while serving at two UMMC locations in Mississippi (Canton and Ridgeland). She emphasizes holistic patient care influenced by her upbringing in a third-world country.
