Maria Papadopouli

Professor Maria Papadopouli leads research in the Computer Science Department at the University of Crete and the Institute of Computer Science at FORTH. Her interdisciplinary work spans mobile networks, IoT systems, and computational neuroscience.

Current neural research focuses on spontaneous brain activity patterns and cortical communication mechanisms. Network systems research examines QoS impacts on user engagement and robust telecommunications architectures. Her group develops analytical frameworks for complex network behaviors across technological and biological domains.
