Maria Mori Brooks is a Professor and Co-Director of the Epidemiology Data Center at the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health, Department of Epidemiology. She specializes in multicenter clinical trials and cohort studies, focusing on cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, blood disorders, women's health, and the epidemiology of health outcomes during menopause. She leads the Data Coordinating Center for trials such as the Myocardial Ischemia and Transfusion (MINT) and Sickle Cell Disease and Cardiovascular Risk - Red cell Exchange (SCD-CARRE), as well as the Data Core for PRECISE.
