Maria Martinez

Maria Martinez, DNP, R.N. serves as the Interim Associate Dean for Undergraduate Nursing at the University of St. Francis since 2023 and as an Assistant Professor since 2022. She is an alumna of the University of St. Francis, earning her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in May 2019.

• Education: BSN from Aurora University, MSN from Resurrection University, DNP from University of St. Francis

Maria brings over two decades of clinical expertise in Medical-Surgical Nursing, Community Health, Hospital Administration, and Forensics. Her academic leadership roles since 2020 highlight her commitment to nursing education and student success. She focuses on empowering students to excel in both academic and professional nursing environments.
