Prof. Maria Kowollik is a Professor of Singing at the University of the Arts Bremen since 1994. A renowned vocalist specializing in contemporary music, she has performed as a soloist at prestigious festivals including the Holland Festival, Gidon Kremer Lockenhaus Festival, and the Venice Biennale. Her collaborations with composers like Vinko Globokar and Sofia Gubaidulina have resulted in dedicated works. She has recorded multiple CDs, including a solo portrait CD featuring commissioned pieces.
Education:
- Completed studies at the Hanover University of Music and Theater under Prof. Charlotte Lehmann.
