Maria Concistre

Dr. Maria Concistre is a Foundation Year Teaching Fellow at the University of Southampton. Her research focuses on advanced nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) techniques, including dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP), solid-state NMR, and low-temperature spectroscopic methods. She specializes in investigating molecular dynamics, structural characterization of materials, and chemical interactions within confined environments.

• Conducts interdisciplinary research in physical chemistry, materials science, and chemical physics.
• Active in developing novel NMR methodologies for studying complex systems, such as fullerenes and transition metal complexes.
• Recipient of the Euromar International Conference 2008 Award (Best Poster) and the Dean’s Prize for Outstanding Contribution to Education (2017).
