Maria Bauluz

Maria Bauluz is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Modern Languages & Literatures at Santa Clara University, part of the College of Arts and Sciences. She holds a B.A. in Anglo-Germanic Philology from the University of Oviedo (1988) and two Master's degrees from the University of Iowa: one in Latin American Literature and another in Second Language Education. Prior to her U.S. career, she taught ESL in Spain as a tenured teacher at the Escuela Oficial de Idiomas. At Santa Clara since 1999, she specializes in Spanish language instruction at elementary, intermediate, and advanced levels.
