Maria-Anna Vasile

Dr. Maria-Anna Vasile is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Bonn, affiliated with the Department of Plant Biodiversity under the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. Her work focuses on the phylogenetic relationships, taxonomy, and functional morphology of Boraginales, integrating advanced techniques like Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), phylogenomics, and morphological analysis using SEM and micro-CT.
