Mari Turner is a Tutor at the School of Education, Aberystwyth University, where she has guided PGCE Drama students since 2004. Her career spans 1989–2020 as an actor and author specializing in Theatre in Education (TIE) programs, including the Iaith Trwy Ddrama (Language through Drama) initiative in Ceredigion schools to enhance oracy skills through drama techniques. She is a cofounder and management team member of Cwmni Theatr Arad Goch, Aberystwyth, and a Churchill Fellow for her work in bilingual community theatre in Tanzania.
