Mari Holen is a Professor at Roskilde University's Department of Humanities and Technology, affiliated with the Research Group for Health and Society and the Center for Gender, Power and Diversity. Her research focuses on health inequality, institutional practices, and patient empowerment in somatic and psychiatric healthcare. She leads the Health Promotion and Health Strategies research group and supervises PhD students.
