Margreet de Rooij-Mohle is a part-time instructor in the Department of Germanic and Slavic Studies at the University of Waterloo. She holds an M.A. in Linguistics from the Université de Montréal (focusing on terminology) and an MA in Translation from the Universiteit van Antwerpen. Her research interests include applied linguistics, conversation analysis, and translation studies. She has professional experience as a translator, interpreter, and language instructor. Since 2011, she has taught courses such as Dutch 101/102 (Elementary Dutch) and Dutch 271 (Dutch Culture and Society), delivered both online and on-campus. She is currently pursuing an MA in German with a research focus on conversation analysis.
