Margo Berendsen is a GIS Analyst and Researcher at the University of Wyoming's School of Computing, affiliated with the Wyoming Geographic Information Science Center (WyGISC). She holds an MA in Geography from SUNY Buffalo and a BS in Biological Sciences from Cornell University. Her work focuses on GIS education, spatial thinking development, and applied geospatial analysis in environmental and land-use planning. She teaches courses like Geospatial Foundations and Spatial Data Visualization.
