Margarita Denenburg is an Associate Professor of Practice in Piano Pedagogy at The University of Texas at Austin, directing the Piano Project. Her work focuses on innovative teaching methods, technology integration, and performer wellness. She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Southern California and degrees from Arizona State University.
Research interests include piano pedagogy innovations, ergonomic practices for musicians, and leveraging digital tools in music education. Recent projects explore transfer student integration, group piano dynamics, and social media applications in private lessons.

Performs solo recitals and collaborates with Gerald Evans on Holst’s Planets cycle. Past projects included Holocaust composers’ works and Schumann’s music analysis.
