Margaret R. Hammerschlag

Dr. Margaret R. Hammerschlag is a Professor of Pediatrics and Medicine at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. She serves as the Director of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Fellowship Training Program and established the Chlamydia Research Laboratory at Downstate. Her career spans advisory roles with the FDA and CDC, with expertise in chlamydial infections and STI treatment guidelines.
