Dr. Margaret Cousins is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Chester, now working part-time. A Chartered Psychologist and Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, she has served as Deputy Head of Department and Operational Head of School. Her doctoral research examined Developmental Coordination Disorder in adults.
She teaches cognitive psychology and developmental disorders, specializing in visuo-motor skills, neurodevelopmental conditions, and music psychology. Her research includes studies on implicit musical memory in aging populations and pedagogical approaches to student success. She supervises dissertations across undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
