معرفی
Dr. Maren Dubbert serves as Research Fellow and Head of the Ecophysiology of Water and Material Cycles Working Group within Program Area 1 "Landscape Processes" at the Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF) in Müncheberg, Germany. She additionally conducts teaching activities at the University of Bonn.
Her educational background includes a Dr. rer. nat. (Doctorate in Natural Sciences) and a Master of Science in Ecology and Environmental Change. Her research program spans multiple ecological scales from plant physiology to landscape-level processes.
Dr. Dubbert specializes in terrestrial ecohydrology and isotope biogeochemistry, with particular focus on soil-plant-atmosphere interactions under climate change-induced stress conditions. Her work involves partitioning and balancing water and carbon cycles across ecological scales while developing advanced measurement techniques including stable isotopes and gas exchange methodologies. This research contributes significantly to understanding agricultural landscape responses to environmental change.
As working group leader, she directs research on climate change impacts on ecosystem functioning and develops innovative approaches for measuring complex ecological interactions. Her work aligns with ZALF's strategic focus areas addressing megatrends in agriculture including climate change adaptation and sustainable land management.
