Marek Rewizorski

Marek Rewizorski is a Professor at the University of Gdańsk's Faculty of Social Sciences, where he heads the Department of Global and Regional Studies. His academic credentials include a PhD in Political Science (2010) and habilitation (2016) from Adam Mickiewicz University, complemented by dual Master's degrees in Political Science and Law.

His research examines global economic governance architectures, with particular focus on the G7/G20 systems, BRICS coalition dynamics, and the European Union's role in transnational regulation. He investigates emerging security challenges including energy security, migration economics, and institutional responses to globalization pressures. His work integrates theories of international political economy with empirical analysis of multilateral institutions.

Recent publications reveal consistent focus on crisis resilience in global governance, analyzing how institutions like the G20 and EU adapt to challenges ranging from financial instability to migration flows. His articles critically examine power shifts toward emerging economies and the changing role of Western-dominated institutions.
