Marek Kornat

Marek Kornat is a Professor at the Institute of History (IH PAN) since 2010 and at Cardinal Wyszynski University's Faculty of Law and Administration since 2008. He has served as Head of the Department of History of Diplomacy and Totalitarian Systems at IH PAN since 2011 and Head of the Department of History of International Relations at Cardinal Wyszynski University since 2008.

His research spans 20th-century international relations, Polish-Soviet relations (1917-1991), totalitarian regimes, historiography theories, and the intersection of political ideas with archival analysis of interwar Polish diplomacy. He has also explored the influence of Oswald Spengler's works on Polish intellectual discourse.
