Marcus Seldin

Marcus Seldin, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Biological Chemistry at the University of California, Irvine (UCI), School of Medicine. His research focuses on systems genetics approaches to dissect mechanisms of integrative physiology, particularly inter-organ signaling networks in health and disease. The Seldin Lab integrates population genetics with experimental methods to study genetic and molecular drivers of clinical traits, such as metabolism, endocrine communication, and cardiometabolic disorders.
